Sunshine is open Monday through Friday from 6:30am-5:30pm. There are full-time or part-time hours available in all rooms except for the infant/toddler rooms.  All classrooms follow a specific written schedule, with times varying for each group.

A typical day at Sunshine looks like this:

6:30-9:00am Arrival/self-directed activities in learning centers

8:00   4K Classes start

9:00-9:15am Preschool  begins/Morning snack

9:30-10:15am Teacher-initiated activities such as,  circle time, art, and small group activities

10:15-10:45am Outdoor play/activity center

10:45-11:00am Wash hands/clean up for lunch

11:15 am Lunch

12:00    4K class starts/Nap (children gradually wake up on their own and have quiet play)

3:00-4:30pm Afternoon snack/Outdoor play/activity center

4:30pm-closing Self-directed activities in  learning centers

Sunshine Playhouse is open year-round.  We are only closed for the following six holidays:

• New Years Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas Day
