Infant Program

You are looking for a safe, secure “home away from home” where your child can learn, play and grow. We have designed a nurturing, creative world for infants to help their minds and bodies develop. Watch your infant take the first steps toward a bright future when sharing his or her early developmental experiences with Sunshine.

Toddler Room

Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that enhance their cognitive, language, motor and social skills. They turn ideas into words and phrases to better express themselves, and practice the value of sharing and cooperating through group play. Children at this stage start to develop friendships and gain confidence as they use their words and thoughts to interact with others. It is important for children to express themselves creatively and, through our Early Foundations® Toddlers program, we encourage all children to develop their unique skills and interests.

Preschool (ages 3 – 5 years)

A preschooler’s world opens up in new ways as children improve coordination, learn complex games, and begin to interact more with others. Children learn by doing, and at Sunshine, your preschooler will strengthen his or her cognitive skills with plenty of hands-on activities.

Pre-K

Pre-K is a critical time for children as they begin the adventure of a lifetime of learning. Every day your child is learning and doing more, which is why Sunshine Pre-K program is designed to challenge more. Our caring, experienced teachers are dedicated to providing a rich, nurturing environment that will prepare your child for kindergarten. We promote independence in an organized atmosphere, as it is increasingly important for children to be their own thinkers. We also teach children to work well within a group through listening, sharing and cooperation.

School-age

Sunshine offers before and after school care for our grade school children. We also offer care for days off of school. Full day care is offered for vacation days, early release or delay, and summer/winter breaks. During the summer, an exciting part of our program is going on a different field trip every (or every other) week.
